Well, we're getting down to the nitty gritty. This episode saw us go from the final eight to the final seven. It was a solid episode. My mad scramble hopes we’re dashed but it was replaced with a gigantic version of Battleships. Now how can anyone be disappointed with life size Battleships? There was fire! Come on, admit it. That was cool.

The episode kicked off with the return from Tribal Council. Mookie and Alex felt double crossed, rightfully so in my opinion. The next day Dreamz tried to convince Mookie and Alex that he didn’t stab them in the back. They were not buying it. Sorry Dreamz, but these bridges are officially burnt. If Dreamz makes it to the end, these are two votes he won’t get. The reward challenge was an old classic. I’ve always liked this challenge. The difference here was that it was played on mud. Well the mud played a part of what could prove to be a very costly injury. Boo went down with a knee injury. He screamed that it was his ACL. For him to know that it had to be new damage to an old injury from his Mixed Martial Arts past. The snaps and pops were brutal sounding. It sounded like Rice Krispies over a loud speaker. I know from being a Martial Artist and Pro-Wrestler that knees don’t heal. This will be a problem for the rest of the game for Boo. The insult to injury was that Boo was sent to Exile Island. This game is merciless. The reward was standard, nothing much there.

After the reward was when it got interesting. Alex and Mookie figured out the Yau-Man had to have the other Idol. They checked Yau-Man’s bag. They were right. So they go off into the woods to plan out this idea of calling out Yau-Man at tribal. When Mookie noticed Stacy and Cassandra not far away, he and Alex changed their plans and tried to blackmail Yau-Man. Hey, desperate people do desperate things. Mischief is the only strategy Alex and Mookie had left. My favorite Mischief is a firecracker taped to an egg but that’s best left for Halloween and 5 de Mayo. Hmm? That’s around the corner. I better go stock up. A reliable lighter is key.

At the Immunity Challenge it was super sized Battleships. I love Battleships. Shoots and Ladders was always a bit boring to me and Life was ok. Monopoly is a classic but Cranium, now that’s a game. Survivor’s version of Battleships was really cool with the fire and the way the grid was set up. Too bad the players didn’t get see it. Any time stuff is blown up on Reality TV is a treat. That’s what was cool about Fear Factor. It wasn’t the gross stuff they ate it. To me it was the pyrotechnics and the car crashes. Death and Destruction is always entertaining. Well, Alex’s and Yau-Man’s hopes of winning immunity were destroyed with one move by Stacy who reigned in this challenge.

Mookie
At Tribal, To Alex and Mookie’s credit, they stirred things up as best they could. When it came time to vote the Alliance of six split their votes on Mookie and Alex. This movie would be exploited. Alex was able to save himself by throwing his vote on Mookie. Ironic that the round before, Mookie gave Alex the Idol in a move that wasted the very thing that would have saved him this round. Well, Mookie was the boot. Gone is the player with my favorite $#!+ faced reaction shots ever. I’ll cherish those memories on You Tube and on my VCR forever. Not to worry Mookie, I’m still King in the "make an @$$ of yourself on TV" category. But you can be the Prince.

Next Time on Survivor: Alex becomes a Ninja. Is it just me or is Survivor becoming Kung Fu theater with Yau-Man the Shaolin Monk and now Alex the Ninja. "Awe, your Kung Fu is pretty good. But not good enough to beat mine!" Alex will have to practice his Praying Mantis techniques to have a chance against Yau-Man’s Drunken Monkey style.

State Of The Tribe:
  • In Control - Earl.
  • In Peril - Alex and Boo.
  • Player To Watch - Alex.
Prediction: Alex will get into more mischief.

Out OF Left Field Prediction: Boo, who was very clumsy at the beginning of this season will make his knee worse and may have to bow out. Stacy will become a Samurai and Face off with Alex the Ninja.
