Well, another episode is in the books and I must admit this episode was hard to watch for various reasons. At times it was like nails on a chalkboard. From Lisi’s Poor attitude about the game to Rocky’s poor attitude about Anthony and women players, this episode became a contest to see who would viewers despised most by the end of the hour. I made my choice and personally, that ugly brown fish with teeth Ravu caught can go to hell. Ha ha ha.

The episode opens up with Rocky snapping on Mookie for swatting flies. Then they get tree mail and at last the reshuffle happens. With the lopsided pummeling that’s been the hallmark of this season of Survivor; the change is a breath of fresh air. So, you get one tribe with women and one without. Hmm. I was surprised that Jeff let that happen. But there weren’t that many women left in the game so I guess there wasn’t much that could be done about it. Lisi doesn’t get picked. Having been taken out of her comfort zone she goes off about wanting out of the game. What?!?! Jeff understandably looks annoyed and was even sarcastic with her about it. It’s safe to say he doesn’t have sympathy for quitters. Lisi goes to Exile Island and throws the clue over her back shoulder. Wow. Lisi’s attitude would be considered the worst ever if not for Rocky’s later in this same episode. This hidden immunity idol thing is a bust thus far. I doubt that it will play as big a role this season as it did in Cook Island and Exile Island.

On the Moto tribe, Cassandra goes from being in serious peril to being a swing vote. Earl senses himself as the power broker of the tribe. I guess, the producers can call off the archeologists. No need to excavate Cassandra from her so below the radar she’s subterranean strategy. She’s come above ground. Ha ha ha.

At Ravu, Anthony gets alienated in the same way that I was on my season. Rocky sends him to do tasks that keep him away from the other tribe members. To Anthony’s credit, he reads the writing on the wall. Meanwhile, Rocky rips the women players of this season. He says he’s glad there aren’t any on Ravu anymore. Not cool. I must say, there are a lot of unlikable characters in this survivor. I can’t remember there being this many in any season before. Ok so the immunity challenge was the redeeming moment of this episode. Like in the early episodes, Michelle is once again a beast, but now for the Moto tribe. She repeatedly put herself in harms way to help her tribe and to slow down the opposing tribe. So get this, the tribe with the women beat the all guy tribe. Ravu remains winless. Well, so much for Rocky’s earlier sentiments. It wasn’t the women that caused all of that losing. Back at camp, when trying to swing a few votes I think Anthony hit the nail on the head when he pointed to Rocky’s poor attitude to explain all of the losing. To Anthony’s credit again, he tried to the end. He didn’t quit.

Anthony
At Tribal Council, It was JP vs. Billy revisited. This time it was Rocky vs. Anthony. At least Rocky didn’t roll his eyes ala JP. But Rocky, clearly the villain of Survivor: Fiji, rips into Anthony, even calls him effeminate, and at this point all I kept thinking to myself was this guy Rocky has no concept of sportsmanship. Well, the vote goes down and Anthony gets the boot. He’s a nice guy who was far too civil a person for a brute like Rocky to understand. Yes I said it Rocky, don’t get effeminate on me. Ha ha ha.

Next time on Survivor: Lisi and Rocky get together on Ravu. Man! This is going to be the least liked tribe ever. There’s only twelve left so the Jury might start this round like it did last season. Yau-Man keeps looking for the hidden immunity idol. At this rate the producers might need to plant more than just two idols.

State of the tribes:
  • Ravu: In Control - Edgardo and Alex. In Peril - Lisi (because of the no women allowed attitude) Players to watch - Edgardo and Alex.
  • Moto: In Control - Earl and Michelle. In Peril - Boo (talk about doing a 180) Players to watch - Yau-man and Earl.
Out of left field predictions: Lisi and Rocky get into a fight before they are both gone. My money is on Lisi via the belly flop splash. Dreamz stops being quiet and goes back to saying controversial things. Ok, that’s not quite an "Out of left field" prediction. Ha ha ha.
