BB Lane - Interview with Will Wikle
Paradise: Hi Will, thanks for taking the time to talk to me. First of all, are you a BB fan? Have you watched seasons 6 and 7? If so..who where you pulling for on each of those seasons? Will: i watched season 6 all the way through and season 7 up until Diane was kicked off. I've learned not to root for anyone unless I've personally met them, because the show takes a lot of creative liberties with how they portray people. For instance, the show made me HATE April on season 6...and then I met her and she is totally sweet and tenderhearted. So I stopped being played like that....Even though I stopped watching, I was rooting for so many of them on season 7. I interviewed Janelle for my network, was BFF with Diane, filmed a show with Will and Boogie, yada yada. They were all nice people who were there to cash a cheque....they all should have gotten more $$ than they did. Paradise: Is there anyone who wasn't on Allstars that you felt should have been? Will: not really Paradise: Have you ever watched the live feeds? The feeds of the houseguests this year showed them repeating your "karma is a boomerang" quote..us season 5 fans loved that. Will: They gave me free live feeds...i would cut them on while diane was there and heard my name mentioned a couple of times. thank god it was always nice...i love that line and still use it to this day. and i'll never look at carmen electra in the same way...hahaha Paradise: How did being on Big Brother change you as a person? Would you do it again if you had the chance? Will: It was such a unique experience...it took its toll on me emotionally. I will never be separated from family and friends for that long again by choice. But it gave me a lot of opportunity that I wouldn't have had otherwise, so all in all, I'm very grateful. But HELL to the NIZZO would I ever do it again. No more reality tv for Will Wikle, thank you very much. Paradise: Do you still keep in touch with any of the season 5 cast? Who was your favorite from your season? Will: I should keep in better touch than I do....I have, of course, talked to everyone at some point. But mostly, just Diane, Marvin, Nakomis....every once in awhile Drew, Jase, and Scott. I've got love for them all...even Adria and Natalie! Paradise: What are your plans for the future? You seem like a busy guy, tell us some of the projects you are working on? Will: Busy, yes. Still doing my nationally syndicated radio show, Twist (www.radiowithatwist.com)...just got bought by Clear Channel and so we are expanding rapidly. We're already in all the major cities. I do hosting work for LOGO, although I have recently signed with William Morris Talent Agency and will continue to pursue hosting as a career. I also am still a proud nurse and work in the ER whenever I get a chance. And am a proud uncle and boyfriend which is THE MOST fulfilling way to spend my time. Will: Last but not least, I just want to say THANK YOU to all the BB fans that write me and still send me good wishes. I will NEVER regret doing that show because it gave me all these wonderful relationships and connected me to so many people around the US. Ya'll rock, for real. love you all, will |
