BB Lane - Interview with Jennylee Berns!
Paradise: First of all I would like to thank you for doing this interview with me Jennylee, your many fans will be happy to hear from you!! Jennylee: My pleasure!! Paradise: How are you? What have you been up to since you left the mansion? Jennylee: I'm living in LA (where I was born). We shot the show last summer, so I've really been laying low... until the show came out. Since then it's been wild. Paradise: What is it like being suddenly famous? How are you dealing with it all? Jennylee: Famous? Lol... I don't know. The idea is still funny to me. It's fun when someone recognizes me and wants to talk about the show. I'm sure it will get old. But not yet. Paradise: What was your first thought upon meeting all the men in the house? Jennylee: I suddenly felt like a total airhead. I've never really thought of myself as dumb. But 8 smart boys will do that to you. Paradise: Which one of your challenges in the house was the most fun and which one was the hardest? Jennylee: I had the most fun with the dog house challenge and in San Diego. Even though Niels bombed at the fitness challenge, I had a lot of fun working out. We were pretty fitness deprived for the first few weeks. Paradise: Tell me about how you were feeling when Niels nominated Nate and CeCee for elimination..you seemed so mad at him. Jennylee: I was soo mad at him. You see, putting Nate and Cecille up against Andrea and Matt was sure to result in Nate and Cecille returning ... for revenge. (which is exactly what happened) And if they had gone home.... well ... then I would have lost Nate. Either way, not a good call. Paradise: What is your thought on the editing of the blondes?? CeCee especially came off badly in most of the episodes. Jennylee: Editing can be deceptive but for the most part, those things happened. Sometimes you will see and/or hear things that did not simultaneously happen, like the cow farting and Megan coughing. Also how it seemed there were people in the room when Cecille was complaining about Niels in San Diego (besides me, Megan and the camera crew). Paradise: You and Nate developed a very close friendship in the house. Are you still friends and is there a chance something more will come out of your friendship? Jennylee: I have a blast with Nate. He's great to be around and I miss him like nuts! But he's at Harvard and I'm in LA Paradise: Aside from Nate do you keep in touch with any of the other Beauty and the Geek cast members? Jennylee: Yes! We have all been doing a lot of promotions and appearances, so we've had a chance to see each other recently. I talk to most of them. Scooter lives near me now so we hang out and I talk to Erin on the phone. Paradise: The show is coming to an end soon, how did it feel being in the final three? Was there a lot of tension in the mansion in the last couple of weeks? Jennylee: As the couples thinned out, the people left in the house got closer ... until they went home too. After it got down to the final 3, I really spent most of my time with Nate. Paradise: What does the future bring?? Are we going to see more Jennylee on our TV? Jennylee: I hope so. I've been modeling forever and you can expect to see me in print and working with the UFC. I'm interested in working in Film. There is also talk of a club tour, so I might be coming to your town. I'd love to meet new people and I'd love to meet YOU!
