Paradise: It has been 8 years since you were locked in the house with 9 strangers, how did Big Brother change you?
Eddie: It gave me a better appreciation for family and friends...
Paradise: As the winner of the first ever U.S. Big Brother, what was the first thing you bought with your winnings?
Eddie: I paid off my parent's home and I got myself a car I always wanted. A 1987 Grand National.
Paradise: Have you kept in touch with any of the BB1 houseguests?
Eddie: Yes, Brittany and I still talk to this day..
Paradise: Did you watch any of the Big Brothers after season 1? If so, what is your opinion on the series? Any favorites?
Eddie: No, sorry none...
Paradise: Do you think you could have won with the current format of the series (players voting each other out), instead of public voting? Would you consider doing the show again?
Eddie: No, as you could see on my show the people in the house were always putting me up to get the boot ... And I can't stab you in the back... I can tell you to go F*%! yourself.. But snitch and back stab... not me...
Paradise: You have been doing a lot of acting, "Law and Order", "Guiding Light" and now a movie called "The Angel". Could you tell us a little about these performances and anything else we can look forward to seeing you in?
Eddie: I have worked very hard over the past 7 years on my craft. I now feel like things are moving in a great direction for me. I am most proud of this film called THE ANGEL. It is winning awards all over the world. It's an action horror film in which I get to perform a ton of stunts.
Paradise: When did you decide you had the acting bug? Do you have any desire to direct, produce??
Eddie: I have wanted to be an actor most of my life... I guess from about the age of 8 on. I'm always looking for interesting roles. Maybe I'd direct something one day, but right now I am 100% committed to acting.
Paradise: You went to university on a wheelchair basketball scholarship, do you still play?
Eddie: Yes, I still play and hope to play until the day I die. I love the sport. It has given me so much in life. I love it very much.
Paradise: You are a true New Yorker, how did you get through 9/11?
Eddie: It was hard for all of us here but you suck it up and move on... To tell the truth I don't like to talk about it...
Paradise: Is there anything you would like your fans to know about Eddie McGee??
Eddie: WOW, Loaded question... Just keep an eye out for me in Paul Houghs next feature. We are looking to shoot it this fall and will hopefully be touring with it next spring... Thanks again to all of you for the support... Back then, and today...
All the best,
Eddie
