BB Lane - Interview with Diane Henry
Paradise: Now that BB Allstars has been over for a few months and you are fully decompressed can you look back and view it as a positive experience? Diane: Hmmmm....now that's a tough one. Not so sure I ever considered it to be a positive experience from the beginning......in fact I do believe I only did it for the paycheck the second time around. (sorry) Paradise: What would you have done differently if you had another chance? Diane: Either have not done it at all, or just go in there and not be scared of anyone or anything. Just play freely like on BB5. There was just too much ass kissin on All-Stars to keep my attention in the game. And also sometimes when the outcome of the show is at the sole discretion of the people behind it, there's not a whole lot that can be done anyways. Paradise: There was much talk in the house about the Mr. and Mrs Smith Alliance, was this a true alliance and if so, where did it go wrong? Diane: It was definitely something we discussed maybe once or twice before the show, and could have definitely been exercised....however I think Jase was still a little in his own world at the time, and we would have both had to be mentally committed to have made it work. I think it would have been fun, and was totally for it. Jase and I just couldn't communicate in the house. It was like death to BB5 players immediately, lol. Also that alliance would have never worked due to that fact of one rather foul mouthed man-like woman ex-reality star of the world person. (I think we all know who that is, and so does she) Paradise: Do you have a favorite moment in the house or least favorite moment? Diane: Well everyday was a least favorite moment in the house, ha ha, but one that I distinctly remember was the first time I got nominated by Kaysar. I took that really hard for some reason and still don't even really know why? Favorite moments I remember.....hmmm, probably anytime Boogie was telling his goofy ass stories, or just talking to Will (he's really sweet), and my "this womps" talks with Marcellas everyday.....and just anything I did with my girl Nakomis. I also always enjoyed playing that badminton game with James. (oh yea, Alison and Howie dancing was hilarious, and Janelle farting in front of all of us too) Paradise: Mike Boogie took a real interest in you while in the house, even to go as far as offering you a job when the show ended. Do you still keep in touch with Mike? Is there anyone else from BB that you have remained friends with? Diane: Oh Mike is a sweetheart. The was not a chance of romance for me in the BB house, hell no! Don't you guys think I learned anything from my season? And of course I still talk to Mike, we both live in LA, as well as the fact that I keep in touch with Marcellas, Howie, Will, Alison some, Kaysar some, Nakomis, James.... Paradise: What is your advice for BB newbies for coping in the BB house? What changes do you feel could be made to make the show more enjoyable for the viewers and the houseguests? Diane: Advice is so hard to give...you just really have to be yourself, and play your own game. Do what works best for you....if you're a manipulator and good at it, do it....if you're genuinely sweet, talk your way through it or float.....ya'll know how it works. And I'm totally sure there are lots of ways to improve the show for the viewer.....like if you subscribe to the live feeds, let the subscriber pick what room they want to watch out of ALL rooms. I hear they only have a few options? Paradise: What can we see in the future for Diane? More TV, or work in the entertainment field? Diane: Girl......I don't even know the answer to that question! |
