Why do you want to be on BB8?
I got married when I was 20 and supported my husband and myself for two years when he was in college. He then signed up to be in the Air Force and I had two children before I was 25. I had to grow up very fast and moved around alot when my kids were young. At times I felt like a single parent and I think that it would be so much fun to have this opportunity to be on my own with a houseful of strangers and compete with them on a mental and physical level I really do believe I have what it takes and want Big Brother to give me the chance to show them that.
What strategies do you believe would put you above others?
Well I hate to say this, because I think this is one of the reasons why Big Brother hasn't put me on the show, but I think being older, I see things differently than the younger people on the show. I can't give you my strategies, because they are Top Secret. :^D
What are your interests and hobbies?
Well all you have to do is ask all my friends and family and they would say my Interests for the last 5 years is to be on Big Brother and my Hobbies are talking to people about me being on Big Brother and being on MySpace. I love to swim and love to watch Reality Tv and go to Comedy Clubs with my family.

I have been married 26 years. I know, I can't believe it either. :^) 2 sons, Dustin 24 and Straight and Nick 22 and Gay. They are the best kids a mom could have. They have to be to put up with me. LOL
How long have you watched BB? Ever watch the feeds?
I have watched Big Brother since Day One. I love it. I watched the first season and said to myself "self, I would love to be on that show". But I didn't have the nerve. Then I watched BB2 and fell in love with Dr Will. He is the best Male player and Danielle and Janie are the 2 best Female players. Then I decided to apply for BB3 and filled out the application and never did the video. So when it was time to apply for BB4 , my husband said Stop talking about it and just do it. I have met so many wonderful people in the BB feeds/chatrooms.
Who is your all-time favorite BB player and why?
Dr Will is my all-time favorite because he was funny and entertaining and lied and manipulated and kept us all tuned into our tv's and feeds for 2 seasons.

SuperTramp is my all time favorite, but now I am hooked on Fergie, Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, Akon, Weird Al, Cherish, Pussycat Dolls, Scissor Sisters, Ashley Simpson, Christina Aguilera, Natasha Bedingfield, Rhiana etc etc
Favorite foods/drinks
I love Mexican Food, Chips and Salsa, Blended Margaritas with Salt, Chicken Tacos and Cheese Enchiladas. I could eat Mexican Food every day. My favorite beverages are Coke Slurpees, Lipton Raspberry Ice Tea, Lemonade and Water.
What else would you like us to know about you?
That I have never wanted anything more in my life than to be on Big Brother. I have never been like this before. I am being completely honest when I say that I have thought about, talked about, dreamt about being on Big Brother every single day for the last 5 years. Just ask my friends from room 26 from the Live Feeds and my closest friends on MySpace. Ask my family, friends and neighbors. They have all had the pleasure of listening to me for the last 5 years talk about being on Big Brother. I look at all the people who get picked to be on these reality shows and wonder what do they have that I don't have to be picked for these shows. I tell my friends that if I don't get picked for BB8 then I am done. There is nothing else I can do to get Big Brothers attention and do you know what they say.... They say Never Give Up !!!!! LOL Well they don't have to live with me. HAHA My family is getting worn out from my Big Brother stories. :^D I just hope that this will be my year. I would probably scream and jump on the closest couch and cry. But I would go in that house and fight my way to the end and win the $500,000. That is my Dream.
Lastly, where on earth did the "Popples" nickname come from?
My nickname is Popples. You have probably wondered how Laura got such a silly name. Well when my kids were little back in the mid 80's they used to have some stuffed animals called Popples. They stopped making them by 1990 and through the year my kids were growing up I ended up selling them at a garage sale. :^( Well with modern technology aka computers, I was on Ebay and saw a picture of a Popples. I couldn't believe it. I pulled up Popples and there was probably 10 pages of the cute little guys. Popples are stuffed animals that turn into balls. Well I litterally went crazy and was bidding on all the Popples. Ok , not all of them, just the cute ones. It lasted about 4 years and I have the cutest Popples room in town. When Big Brother started and they had the live feeds I needed a nickname and Waaalaaaaa that is how I came up with Popples. So I have been called Popples now for 7+ years. That is my story and I am sticking to it. :^D Here I am in my Popples Room with my son Nick's friend Melanie.
